Synopsis

Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers

The Only Band That Can Make You Laugh, Cry, and Sprain an Ankle From Jiggin’ — All in One Night
Have you felt like something has been missing from your life for the past 7 years?  Looking for a night out that feels like a shed party, a kitchen racket, and a comedy show all stuffed into one overloaded cooler?  Then grab your boots, your cousin, and your truck keys, because Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers are ready to take the stage — and possibly your breath — away.

For over 30 years, these legends have been roaming Newfoundland and Labrador spreading music, mischief, and occasional minor confusion. With harmonies sweeter than molasses and comedy sharper than your mother’s tongue, they can turn any crowd into a full blown hootin’, hollerin’, belly laughin’ mob.

What to Expect at a Show

•    Songs that’ll make you emotional, though nobody admits it.
•    Comedy that’ll make you snort-laugh, even if you’re tryin’ to be fancy.
•    Stories your uncle will later claim happened to him, even though they didn’t.
•    At least one audience member yelling “Buddy!! Sing da one!”

People love these guys because they’re part of the cultural DNA — like toutons, or blaming the weather forecast. They’re the trio that can have you doubled over laughing one minute and swaying along the next, wondering how these fellers can do all that without tearing something important.

Seeing Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers live is like going to your favourite kitchen party — except the music is on purpose, the jokes are rehearsed (mostly), and nobody’s trying to fry bologna at 2 a.m.

Warning
Side effects may include:

•    Uncontrollable jigging
•    Sudden nostalgia
•    Emotional whiplash
•    Desire to buy a CD even though you haven’t owned a CD player since 2009
